The Was Amazing…

This is just what we needed, a great place to “disconnect, relax, and unwind.” The food was amazing, the hospitality was superb, and the place was beautiful.  the trees, birds and azaleas were our favorites.  We love this place and plan to be back.—May 2016

—Best B&B I’ve Stayed In …

I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many B&Bs, and The Cedars Davidson is absolutely the best. Very clean, quiet, comfy beds, excellent location, and an even better breakfast. It’s clear to see a lot of thought was put into this house and how to make each guest as comfortable as possible. I will be back; even if I have meetings in Charlotte, I prefer to stay at The Cedars. — June 2015

Wonderful Stay

I was here with my daughter on a college tour at Davidson. We were very fortunate to find such a comfortable and hospitable place to spend the night. Tom and Sue are very gracious hosts. The beds are perfect, accommodations spotless, and the breakfast scrumptious. My only regret is we could only stay here one night. — June 2015

The Cedars: It’s the Place to Be!

The Cedars is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and very clean and cozy. There is a room to spend time with all or just sit out under a tree and read … My stay was due to an upcoming snow storm so that I would be closer to work. The next morning when my co-workers and I went to clean the snow off of our cars, [Tom & Sue] had already done it for us. That, to me, is above and beyond … The Cedars really is a hidden gem, however, not for long! Once word gets out about The Cedars you may be on a waiting list. To the Davidson College parents, it’s just a stone throw away from the school. Tom and Sue are exceptional hosts — truly wonderful people. Take the time to chat with them. It will be most rewarding. — February 2015

Wonderful, relaxing stay!

My husband and I stayed at The Cedars Davidson in April while visiting our son at Davidson College. Our experience at The Cedars could not have been more pleasant from start to finish … As our car pulled into the driveway, Sue was outside to greet us. She gave us a tour of the B&B, showing us the games in the library, where the best reading lamp was, and most importantly the 24/7 Keurig coffee maker. We stayed in the Maple Room, which looks just like the photo on their website … The highlight of our stay was Sue’s outstanding breakfasts. Each guest is given a menu the night before listing the next morning’s choices. Not only can you choose what items you want from the menu which changes daily, but you can also choose the time you want breakfast served. Both Tom and Sue were very helpful during our stay, offering suggestions on what to do, favorite dinner spots, and even their auto mechanic, since our car needed servicing during our visit. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to The Cedars the next visit we take to Davidson. – April 2015

Anniversary Celebration

We came for a quick get away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Maple Room on the first floor with a private bath. The Cedars house is beautiful inside and open. It’s not stuffy like some B&Bs. Two outside fire pits. A bit of a walk into Davidson in the heat, so we drove and had no issue parking for free. Visited many great shops and restaurants. The owners are wonderful folks, charming and welcoming. And the breakfast is to die for! I’d absolutely recommend to anyone! — June 2015
