Meet Sue Bartlett, the chef at The Cedars Davidson. Sue has a career in nursing, and in a “later in life” career addition, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales University in Culinary Arts. One of the aspects of the bed and breakfast she is most proud of is the unique way they do the breakfast part.

“I get to plot and plan featured menu items, gaining inspiration from lovely seasonal ingredients, or cook based on my own mood or tidbits I’ve picked up after meeting our guests. Breakfast at The Cedars means I get to run a very little restaurant and can totally cater to the tastes of each of our special guests every morning. It is my own little slice of heaven, and it happens by 9 a.m. every day!”

As a guest at The Cedars Davidson, your breakfast is made-to-order from 7:30-9:00 each morning. The daily menus feature seasonal choices as well as a scrumptious breakfast staples. Wake up to the fresh aroma of hot coffee, warm baked goods, and your breakfast on the table. Sue and her sous chef, Tom, look forward to delighting your eyes and your palate, each and every time you start your day at The Cedars Davidson breakfast table.
